a warm autum

iv been busy on the east coast for a bit so here is an assortment of eye candy that follows...

its also been a warm coastal California fall here in west Marin along with a harsh dry season. its reminiscent of the hot, dry and perfect burn conditions that accompanied the Inverness fire exactly 18 years ago this past week as told by a client of mine i built a wood shed for up in Marshall.

also the harvest of local growers has been spectacular and a great season. the fall is bountiful.

enjoy.

a clay piece i recently finished back in NY

a Garden Danny and i work in. Danny is primary care giver and gardener extraordinaire.

a garden Mom and i installed for one of her clients nearly 3 years ago back on Long Island. looking good so far and a slue of fish!

two new necklaces i put together while back in NY. the amber strand is a mix of 13 hand made glass beads and amber fillers spaced with antique blue onyx beads and copper filler beads. the inner necklace is silver and shell filler beads, 4 glass hand made beads, and one bone carved focus bead at center. the necklace has leather cord at the back.

a mask miles made.

an old friend lush in my trasures deep under the sea. all hand made glass and ceramic. he likes good books as well, the Fox Fire books.

a friend took 22 of my glass beads and made this Buddha very happy. ideas, ideas...

happy dad, questionable baby

cleared out the old woodpile under plastic and started a proper wood shed made of cypress milled 4x4 and some new 2x4s to lay the frame and ridge line.

then used reclaimed wood that the client had and made a roof out of it.
last little finish on the ends with scraps.
